COMING SOON: THE WILD VAT - BEAUTIFUL TEXTILES DYED WITH PLANT DYES FROM GARDEN AND COUNTRYSIDE
All gardeners should grow sustainably, in tune with a wilder and more ecological gardening ethos. In my own gardens I have always aimed to illustrate sustainable and resilient growing with carefully chosen plant varieties, creation and management of different areas of wild grass, and joy as a certain beautiful randomness enters. For two decades I provided glorioius organically gropwn flwoers for celebrations large and small, I now help others to develop and celebrate their own sustainable gardens.
I am currently also working on a new plant based project, THE WILD VAT, working with plants to create beautiful natural dyes which I am using for botanical printing on silk and organic cottons. The Wild Vat will be up and running this summer, In the meantime there are occasional tasters on my Instagram feed.
